Tata vehicles are imported into the UK by Phoenix Ventures Ltd, the parent company of the MG Rover Group. There are more than 40 Tata dealers in the UK. Endon Services Group is the fastest growing UK dealer and has an extensive range of vehicles on site at its Stoke-on-Trent headquarters.

The Tata corporation is India's largest company and represents fully 2.5% of the entire Indian economy (2002). The company is involved in a wide range of manufacturing, distribution and retail activities. Tata manufactured 200,000 vehicles last year, considerably more than some significant European manufacturers (e.g. MG Rover built approx. 80,000 cars in 2001). In early 2003 Tata signed a contract to manufacture the new MG Rover small car, to be based on the Tata Indica, which is a huge success in its home market
